Tariff number search
You can find a tariff number in three ways:
- Enter a full or partial goods code in the search field, e.g. 010121 or 840140.
- Enter a goods description, e.g. “horses” or “nuclear reactors”.
- Browse by chapter from the home page if you know the structure.
Reading the results
Each entry shows the code, its hierarchical indentation and the official description. The detail page also lists import measures, duty rates, countries of origin and legal bases.
The data comes from the European Commission’s official monthly TARIC extraction.
